Netto’s Cafe

Netto’s Cafe is tucked into the far back corner of the Kirkman Oaks shopping plaza on the corner of Kirkman and Conroy. The main part of the restaurant is very small, but they have an enclosed porch with air conditioning, which more than doubles the dining space.

They have a traditional Brazilian menu, with different specials daily. I ordered the grilled chicken breast, which came covered in roasted garlic and grilled onions. I’m not exaggerating when I say there was a blanket of garlic and onions on top of the chicken breast. It was incredible the amount of flavor this added to the meal. The chicken itself was a bit dry and overcooked, but the garlic and onions more than made up for what the chicken was lacking. It came with a side of black beans and a side of white rice. Both were delicious. The meal was amazing, everything tasted great, just writing about it here makes me want to go back.
